David Cohen
David Cohen is the founder and president of Vocational Alternatives Inc. Employed in the field of vocational rehabilitation since 1973, he has extensive experience working with claimants injured in motor vehicle accidents as well as those suffering from significant other medical, emotional, and physical disabilities. Included are those who have had spinal cord injuries as well as those who have acquired serious brain injuries. David holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Carleton University and is a member of the College of Certified Social Workers of Ontario. He is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada, a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor as designated by the Commission on Rehabilitation Certification, and a Senior Disability Analyst and Diplomate as designated by the American Board of Disability Analysts. David is also a member of the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals and has been designated as a Certified Vocational Professional - Master’s level [MCVP].
David is a recognized leader in the field of vocational rehabilitation in the province of Ontario and coupled with his passion for helping others, he has raised the bar in establishing best practice in the area of vocational assessment as he firmly believes in offering his clients meaningful, sustainable, and objective results.

Jeff Cohen
Jeff Cohen is an active partner and Vice President of Vocational Alternatives Inc. Employed in the vocational rehabilitation sector since 2002, Jeff has gained invaluable experience in the provision of vocational evaluation and rehabilitation services. He has worked extensively within an interdisciplinary medical setting with those seeking transition resulting from a wide range of injuries including but not limited to: soft tissue injuries; severe orthopaedic impairments and disabilities; minor, moderate, and severe head injuries; neurological injuries; less visible injuries ranging from chronic pain to psychological and mental health issues; and those suffering from congenital disabilities such as cerebral palsy, blindness, and other learning disabilities. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University and is designated as a Certified Vocational Professional (CVP) in good standing with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. He is a ‘Registered Rehabilitation Professional’ (RRP) and a 'Registered Vocational Professional' (RVP) with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRAC), and is a serving board member with the Canadian Assessment, Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Society (CAVEWAS). He is also a certified VALPAR Pro 3000 Operator, he is a certified GATB Test Administrator, and has completed the International Certification in Impairment and Disability Rating (Based on the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th ed.) through the American Board of Forensic Professionals.
Jeff is an emerging leader in the province of Ontario's vocational rehabilitation sector. He has truly specialized skills in the area of assessment and he has honed his ability to offer his clients the most meaning, sustainable, and objective results possible when tackling issues related to vocational displacement.
